Basic Buttercream Cake Decorating Class
The perfect fondant cake starts with the perfectly buttercreamed cake. In this class we teach you how to torte, fill, and buttercream a single tiered 7" round real cake in preparation of fondant cover. We also teach you three buttercream finishes; ombre rosette, rustic buttercream and ruffle! This class is a perfect precursor to our Basic Fondant Cake Techniques class. Space is limited so book now!
In this two hour class you will learn how to:
- torte, fill, and buttercream a cake in preparation of fondant cover
- ombre rosette finish like this cake
- rustic buttercream finish like this cake
- ruffle buttercream finish like this cake
- create smooth, flawless buttercream for a clean finish
We will be providing the cakes (vanilla), buttercream, spatulas, and cake boards. You will need to bring a few items with you, that list is coming soon. Classes are held at our cake studio in Green Brook - 349 Highway 22, Green Brook NJ, across from Strike and Spare bowling alley.
If less than 5 spots are booked 1 week prior to scheduled date, class will be cancelled and monies refunded.
Rain/snow dates will be rescheduled.
